The Doctor of Pharmacy curriculum is designed to prepare students to enter the practice of pharmacy after completing licensure requirements. The didactic and experiential portions of the curriculum are integrated in such a way as to develop fundamental knowledge while being introduced to the practice through strategically placed introductory pharmacy practice experiences. The acquisition and application of knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to become a pharmacist occurs throughout the curriculum. Specifically, the College of Pharmacy follows these guidelines, which meet or exceed Arkansas Department of Higher Education standards.
